The Passerinvest Group’s Roztyly Plaza office building has been awarded the prestigious title of Building of the Year 2024 in the 32nd annual Building of the Year competition, organised by Nadace pro rozvoj architektury a stavitelství (Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Civil Engineering).

Winning the title for the purity of the architectural and structural design of the building and the urban concept of its location in an area immediately adjacent to Krč Forest. According to the jury, the building is an example of modern administrative architecture that breaks down the stereotypical ideas the general public has about office buildings as “glass-concrete abominations” that devour public space. The jury was also taken with the building’s affability, its well though-out shape, accessibility, and the interconnection of the space outside and inside the building.

The Building of the Year award is presented to projects that stand out for their architectural quality, technical solutions, and benefit for society. Roztyly Plaza therefore now ranks as one of the most prominent buildings in the Czech Republic, setting new standards in the sphere of commercial construction.
