Today, with the ceremonial placement of the foundation stone, the construction of the new Roztyly Plaza office building was symbolically launched. Work is currently underway on the construction of the underground levels with a capacity of 330 parking spots for tenants and another 100 spots for a P+R parking lot. The seven-storey building will offer offices with a total area of 21,700 m² to rent along with retail units on the ground floor, which will be occupied by a cafeteria, while there are also plans for a grocery store or drugstore here. The construction also includes the modification of the immediate vicinity, the bus station will be modernised, the street level landscaped and the asphalt replaced by the Prague mosaic, which will enable water to permeate. The project was designed to satisfy the needs not only of the building’s tenants, but also the general public. The renowned architecture studio Aulík Fišer architekti is behind the architectural design of the building, which has been going up since the autumn right by the Roztyly metro station on the C line. The investor is the Passerinvest Group and the construction is being carried out by GEMO a.s. The project is aiming at providing its tenants an inspirational working environment, in which it is a joy to come together.
“I am very glad that even in this time, full of various challenges, we have managed to continue with the construction of the Roztyly Plaza project, with which, last autumn, we began our plan leading to the long-term and sustainable development of Prague - Roztyly. There is solid demand on the market for offices and we have already registered the first serious interested parties. Roztyly Plaza is an ideal choice primarily for companies that want to create an attractive working environment with regard to the well-being of their employees,” added Lenka Preslová, the Sales Director of Passerinvest Group, a.s.
Passerinvest is planning on creating quality conditions for working, living and spending leisure time here over several phases in place of the dilapidated brownfield in Prague - Roztyly. In addition to the nascent first phase, it is planning a second office building called Sequoia, the placement of which will create a natural barrier protecting the entire locality against the noise from the south ring road and the Magistrála. The third and final stage should be comprised of residential construction with 600 flats for sale and for rent and a preschool with a club room in a pleasant environment near the Krč Forest. There are also plans for the further development of parks, playgrounds, sports facilities and the cultivation of greenery.
"We are pleased that the SCS Software s.r.o., Czech video games development company, become the first major tenant of the Roztyly Plaza building where they plan to build their new headquarters," adds Lenka Preslová, Sales director of Passerinvest Group, a.s.
